Arezoo M FArd

I am a multidisciplinary artist.

Most of my work is creating from nothingness. Creating beautiful patterns with a focus on nature, to craft unique beauty, fashion production, fabrics and textiles with the stunning colors of nature. Creating beautiful patterns with a focus on nature to produce unique beauty, fashion, fabrics, and textiles with the stunning colors of nature. Graduated with a bachelor's degree in cinema & Theatre Master's degree in linguistics. Fashion designing, Textile design, Performance, Photography, Collage, Sculpture, Storytelling, and Poetry is my concern. Sometimes I create my works from poetry, sometimes from plant, and sometimes from waste I am also exploring printing processes using specific natural textures as well as using hard textures for application in the fashion industry and other industries. Waste management and gentleness toward the earth and nature have been one of my main concerns, greatly influencing my works. In my opinion, indifference to the earth is the starting point of human destruction. I invite you to join me in helping to raise the earth's vibration.

Artist Statements

My works are based on an original idea, incorporating diverse textures from dried fruit peels, rigid and flexible materials, recyclable elements, and discarded textures. The inspiration for my installations stems from a desire to highlight the beauty and potential of things that are often overlooked or deemed as waste. By incorporating diverse textures in my inaugural project, "Earth Crust", where the beautiful textures and colors of fruit peels are carefully selected, I aim to engage viewers on an emotional level. I hope to evoke a sense of wonder and curiosity, encouraging them to think more deeply about waste sustainability and creative reuse. Human impact on the environment has reached a critical point, defining a new era: the Anthropocene. This unprecedented challenge poses significant risks to Earth and humanity’s future. With a forward-thinking mindset, I am focused on discovering new ways and resources in nature to address this challenge. My commitment is aligned with exploring constructive and innovative solutions through responsible approaches that safeguard our planet's health. In my work, I explore the environmental impacts of human activity, with an emphasis on recycling—an increasingly relevant topic in the context of climate change and sustainability challenges. I seek solutions for the planet, searching for alternatives like natural over chemical materials, and exploring efficient waste management. As my main discipline is fashion design, my work often materializes through textiles and fashion. I have also developed new organic materials that can be applied across various industries. The continuity in my work lies in interconnected textures and chains of materials, particularly dried fruit peels, directly connecting back to the source: the Earth. The sometimes-suspended elements reflect the transformative journey of resource cycles. Fashion and textile themes often add a layer of complexity, inviting viewers to consider broader issues such as textile waste and recycling. This approach encourages reflection on the life cycle of clothing and its impact on the environment.
