Arezoo M FArd

I am a multidisciplinary artist.

I am a multidisciplinary artist and designer whose creative journey is rooted in bringing beauty out of nothingness. My work is an exploration of natural forms, organic materials, and poetic expression. With a deep reverence for the Earth, I create patterns, textures, and wearable art inspired by the captivating hues and forms found in nature. I hold a degree in Cinema and Theatre and a Master’s in Linguistics. My practice spans across fashion design, textile creation, performance, photography, collage, sculpture, storytelling, and poetry. I often find inspiration in the overlooked—transforming poems, plants, and even the textures of fruit peels into evocative visual languages. Currently, I am researching innovative printing techniques using unique natural textures, as well as experimenting with rigid materials for use in fashion and beyond. The microscopic structures of fruit skins inspire many of my surface designs, inviting viewers into a new sensory dialogue. Sustainability and compassion for the Earth are at the heart of my creative philosophy. I believe that apathy toward our planet is the first step toward human decline. Through my work, I strive not only to honor the Earth’s beauty but to raise its energetic vibration. I invite you to join me on this journey—where art, nature, and intention meet.

Artist Statements

I am a multidisciplinary artist whose work is rooted in a novel idea: to highlight the potential of things often overlooked. My practice seeks to awaken the curiosity of viewers, encouraging them to look deeper into the unique textures and materials that surround us. From fruit peels and rigid organic surfaces to recyclable elements typically discarded in everyday life, my projects explore a diverse range of materials. With a background in fashion design, my work bridges art, fashion, and environmental activism. I explore innovative textile solutions using distinctive fruit textures, natural materials, and sustainable methods—reflecting my deep commitment to ecological responsibility. My academic foundation in Cinema and Theatre enriches the performative and spatial aspects of my installations, while my studies in Linguistics lend a narrative depth to my work, helping to communicate the urgency of environmental concerns in a tangible way. A core focus of my work is to investigate alternatives to chemical materials and promote effective waste management. Much of my practice is devoted to unpacking the layers of challenges posed by the Anthropocene—an era in which human activity has disrupted Earth’s ability to self-regulate. This subject has become increasingly relevant in the discourse around climate change and sustainability. In addition, I have developed new organic materials with potential applications across various industries. My exploration of microscopic forms found in both living and dried natural textures continues to influence my textile and sculptural designs, bringing together biology, surface, and volume in a conversation between form and function.
